Doordarshan Recruitment 2025: Doordarshan have announced applications from qualified, energetic and experienced candidates for the post of Stringers/ Cameraman in District Srinagar (Capital City), Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora Districts. There are total 23 vacancies for the aforementioned position as per the official notification.The applicant must be from Proprietor, Partnership Firm, or Corporate Body/Organisation with experience in coverages.
The stringers are will be paid for coverage irrespective of length of footage or its uses but inclusive of transportation and delivery charges for 1) local coverage of duration of 6 hours @ Rs. 1500 per coverage and in case duration of 6 hours is accident or when it involves locations apart for more than 10 Kms, it will be treated as two coverage and the second coverage will be paid @ Rs. 1000.
In the case of outstation coverage which are Undertaker beyond the geographical limit of the town/ city where the stringer is empanelled or beyond the town of Kendra, the Stringers fee would be Rs. 1800+ irrespective of length of the footage or usage of the coverage, inclusive of transportation and delivery charges. Stringers should have adequate facilities and equipment to undertake the coverage.

Applicants with four whiler vehicles should have qualification, Experience and Expertise in Cinematography/videography/news/gathering/broadcast journalism.
