INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT 2025: The Indian Army is inviting eligible Unmarried Male and Unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Indian Army for 65th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men [SSC(Tech)- 65 Men] and 36th Short Service Commission ( Technical) Women [SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women]. The Course commence will be in OCT 2025 at Pre commissioning Training as per the official notification. There are total 381 openings for the aforementioned positions.
The age limit for the SSC (Tech) – 65 Men and SSCW (Tech) -36 Women Should be between 20 to 27 Years and the maximum age limit for Widow’s of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in Harness should not be more than 35 years.The selection of the candidates will be done in 3 Stages, SSB Interview, Medical Examination and Merit – Based Selection. The salary for the above mentioned positions will be in between Rs.56100 to Rs. 177500 per month as per the official notification. All the selected candidates will undergo a Training Period and the duration of the Training will be 49 weeks.

Qualification and experience for INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT 2025:
FOR SSC (TECH) 65 MEN and SSCW (TECH) – 36 WOMEN
According to the official notification the educational qualification required for applying is candidates who have passed the requisite engineering degree course or are in the final year of engineering degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of engineering degree course should be able to submit the proof of passing engineering degree examination along with marksheets of all semesters by 01 OCT 2025 and produce the engineering degree certificate within a 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Pre recommendation in training academy ( PCTA).
For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in Harness only
SSCW ( Non Tech) ( Non UPSC) Graduation in any discipline.
SSCW ( Tech) B.E./ B.Tech in any Engineering Stream
Selection Process for INDIAN ARMY YOU 2025:
According to the official notification of INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT short listing of application, Centre Allotment.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of fix cut off percentage of Mark obtained in graduation based on number of application received and vacancies for each engineering discipline without assigning any reason. The cutoff will be applied in each stream on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by candidates up to the final semester.
after shortlisting of application the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidates via there email after allotment of selection centre candidates will have to login to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on the first come first serve basis initially there after it will be allotted by the selection centres.
only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut of percentage will be interviewed at one of the selection centre. Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear stage 1 will go to stage 2 and those who fail in stage 1 will be written on the same day.
